Well, I'm pulling my eyelashes out. Ha ha. Not really. But I am still waiting for my wig so I can cosplay L, and I haven't even got the white top yet. Trying to find the perfect one. I found one which would need modding, but I haven't got the tools of the trade to do that. It will be done though, and soon.
I've been reading all the Death Note manga. I'm currently half way through the 10th book, so I should have finished by tomorrow. I bought books 2 to 12 all at the same time so I'll finish it off easily. I'm always like that when I get to the end of a story, I get excited and read the rest quickly.
I've decided to do a photoshoot as L, so Ebay helped me find an ideal wig. Spot on in fact. Last night I found a white top in Tesco for £10 which is almost perfect, except the collar is a little different, but there's no crime in getting close. I'd adjust it if I had a sewing machine and the skills to use one. But it'll do, so might go to Tesco again tonight and purchase it. Then all I have to do is wait for my hair to arrive and I'm sorted.
I don't know if I'll ever go to a convention as L? It's not a difficult character to do, but going to the London Expo this last May and saw some of the cosplayers there, at least it'll look like I've made an effort, and as a role player, I'd stay in character when I'm wandering about. It'd be fun. We'll see. :)
My first blog on the Cosspace then, and along with adding two pictures today, that's not three bad. The only thing I can say I've done is playing Santa on my YouTube videos last December in my Advent Videos. It was fun and I'll do it again in 2007. I got a couple of offers to be Santa Claus at local pubs, but turned it down for two reasons... God knows why they'd want me as a Santa, and I was working anyway.
My official first cosplay outfit will be 'bought' in August or September. I'm no good with materials, I don't think anyway? So I'll be buying a Jedi outfit to go to the London Expo in October '07. I can't wait. I'll blog again when I have more info. Laters.
