I stated ina previous blog that I would update when my father would stop helping me with my cosplay/ home business, and sadly on January 12th, on his way home from work his heart exploded and he passed away. XYZA was closed until 3 weeks ago when I started to take in commissions again, right now I have one, with three pending.

Now, I want my fucking credit. I have no help, and am forced to weld props on my own with supervision from AJ (If I'm lucky)

This is why my account has been so inactive lately. The good part I guess, is that they were able to donate my dad's eyes to a blind person. Also in fair news two people who should die, are alive because he's deceased, and when they read this, they'll know who I'm talking about. Neeto, and La Bamba told me what was going to happen at my father's funeral.

Yeah, you stupid fucks, you're lucky to have your lives.

so anyway, I'm engaged (again)! I swear, this time I'm gonna walk down the aisle!

AS most people know, I work for a haunted house every year. This is my fifth year. Thursday, I will be in the paper for my costume designs and creations that I have done for this haunt.

I'm still recovering, for the surgery and the accidents. 1) getting run over by a fucking truck on my bike, 2) getting hit by a drunk driver in my friends hummer. Youmacon is in like 10 days, and I've got everything ready to go. my room is about full and everything is going smoothly.

George and I going steady. He's won't be able to make it because someone needs to help take care of my nana, (she's 98) and we are both uncomfortaable leaving her alone for the weekend. Unlike majority of my family I care about her.

 

so, that's about all for now.

This has been bothering me for quite sometime. I won't name names, and I won't hint hints.

But why does it seem, at least to me, that someone is getting praised for several costumes that mommy and daddy helped them make?

 what about the cosplayers that work hard, on their own, and do damn good? why arethey left in the dust, while others are praised for being helped?

why?

there are several cosplayers out there that deserve praise for costumes, THEY ALONE made.

Enough is Enough. If you're too coward to come forward and tell the truth, then maybe you shouldn't cosplay.

 have I received help? yes, my father helped me saw my rifle so I could hinge it, he also cut out the base wood. Those of you who have met me know I always say "my daddy helped me" cause he did, while I did most of the work, he still did bits that I couldn't do.

 does he still help me? not on my costumes but on commissions, Recently I acquired 18 commissions for Spartan costumes to be shipped out to Austria. My father cut the wood for the shield, while I welded the shields emblems on. I did everything else. I made the dory and finished the hoplan. The helmets were made from 1/8 in steel that I welded and formed to fit. sure, it's not brass, but it's more accurate than cardboard and ductape.

should -I- be praised?

 

No. I have been given help, even though it is minimal I have not done EVERYTHING myself. I'm getting there, I remade my rifle-by myself, but my father is still helping out with Spartan commissions because I have no time.  When I can branch off on my own, I'll update this- until then.

oh update, kinda, since my daddy was promoted (he now OWNS American Welding) I have a new job making 27$ hour welding. :P I. Rock.
