Hey all Just putting up a new blog stating my computer has, in some form or another... crashed... From Windows Media Player I went to update some stuff and whaever installed is interfearing with other programs on my computer... this includes the new service pack totalling knocking out my internet connection. I cant even get a system restore to work so I can restart my computer from a previoous date before I installed the new windows applications. So that's why I have been way more inactive on here then normal. I hope to have some new pics up from Halloween atleast... possibilities for costumes are Chris Redfield or Neo (Matrix)... my hair is really short for me to put on my Spike Spiegel cosplay until my hair grows back more (hopefully by January) At any rate... I'm on a computer now that is not mine s I dont have access to anything I'd liek to upload or work on... Sorry!! But dont neglect me! I am still here!! Feel free to leave me comments and so on!! My page hasn't had any activity recently :(

Resident Evil: Extinction, the 3rd movie in the Resident Evil series, was actually quite awesome! The biggest concern there was with this movie was how "craptastic" and generally bad it was gonna be. The first movie wasn't so bad... It was within the world of Resident Evil with an enterly new cast and story built around the events of the game. Overall I enjoyed it becasue I didn't feel it had hurt the title and it actually got me more interested in the Resident Evil series in general. The second movie, Apoclypse, was an enjoyable action film.... Until you compared it to the source material: Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (On Playstation and Gamecube). This movie contained game elements such as the overall story, the Nemesis tyrant creature and film characters Carlos and Jill among a few others. The movie was regarded as "Bad". In the true tradition of Trilogies, Extinction makes up for the previous film and delivers something thats slightly creepy, full of action and surprise jumping moments. It was a warm welcome to see this. The movie is left off with a possible 4th film can come off... yet it also ended on a note where if they didn't continue the movie it wouldn't hurt the series. The story of Extinction is pretty straight forward. Years have passed since the 2nd movie left off. Raccoon City had been destroyed and the virus thought to be "sanitized". This movie starts off letting you know that this is the post-apocalyptic world... the virus has spread and destoryed just about everything in the world... Those who survived have learend to never stay in one place at a time so they band together in groups and continue to move. Alice finds a journal where the author made notes and research to show that the last safe place for humans maybe in Alaska. She meets up with the new cast of this film which is also the team the returning cast from the second film joined forces. The decession has to be made to keep hope alive and travel to Alaska or continue what they have been doing. Meanwhile more of Alice's past continues to make its pressence known as she also tries to control her gradually increasing powers. The beginning of the film felt a 'lil disorienting at first and there were a few parts in general that didnt feel so strong. Creatures include the zombie dogs, zombie crows, "Crimson Heads" (these are the fast acting and vicious zombies from the original RE title on Gamecube and are also the zombies seen in the remake of Dawn of the Dead) and a Tyrant who actually makes last movies Nemesis look like a timid ankle biter. Acting was pretty good, only real complaint was Ali Larters character of beloved video game heroine Claire Redfield and then the film portrayal of Umbrella badboy Albert Wesker. She felt weak and didn't hold a prescience in the film, not to say her acting was bad but she didn't portray the character properly... outside the fact the tomboy biker girl of the games was totally rewritten for a weaker version in Jill Valentines game self. Wesker also had a strength problem as he didn't feel as strong as he does in the games. However this was a very enjoyable film for those who like action, suspence or are fans of the game or not! I would suggest this movie! I'm already looking forward to seeing it again ALSO!! BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad vol. 3 is on its way to DVD on Sept 25th!! I'm so stoked!!
Well it's been awhile. Last I checked... It was just before Anime Expo (or right after) when I did my last blog. Well... some stuff has gone on since. Off and on in an art block... I had a 23rd Birthday! Woo! Went Go Kart racing with my "bro", Zac. I saw a Ska concert of Streetlight Manifesto, Less Than Jake, Against All Authority and Reel Big Fish. Saw ANOTHER concert of Deep Purple and the Edgar Winter Group. By no I just been doing alot of working and now I'm back in school. Watching the bonus features on my new 2 Disc TMNT DVD! :D Yay! I gotta get the 2 Disc Hot Fuzz and 2 Disc 300 next! Workin' a 'lil late tomorrow, 11-5 So I'm gonna get-a going on my sleep!
I wake up at 5am and the first thing I fnd myself doing, aside from having a mental argument with myself on why I should wake up in the first place, is pulling weeds and cleaning the oil off the driveway. Oooo. Now my arms are itchy... I'm on my way to the shower! YAY! After that I eat some breakfast... pack up loosly my art stuff in my backpack and then pack up my snacks to keep me going during this con! I have the previously mentioned backpack, travel luggage (that I now confirmed to be airline safe size! *thumbs up!*) and this suit luggage that I can hang in the closet with all my cosplay in it.
No later then 9am my group and I leave for Long Beach! I'll see you all when I get back.... and I'll see a bunch of you during the con I hope! See you all on the 3rd!!
My second blog ever!! You all feel lucky?! hehe. Well... you should 'cus... You should o_0 So there. Well I'm sitting here watching 2-Disc Limited Edition Hellsing Ultimate Series vol. 2. I just FINALLY bought it today for just about $20 at Suncoast!! I'm very happy :) My only gripe is the same I shared with vol. 1 of the DVD and that was how I want MORE! X_X Vol 3 cant get here soon enough (Well ok... in a positive note... it'll be here before vol. 4 heh). I am sad becasue it appears there was a vulgar term Jan Valetine was saposed to use in this episode however it would seem it was replaced with the most common thing he refers to Integra as This does lead up to AX however as they are showing Episode 3 subtitled! I'm very stoked to see it!! ^_^ **** So this is the eve before I leave. I still have almost all my packing to do minus bathroom stuff one I type this up and brush my teeth. I gotta make sure I have all my cosplay together including props and accessories and any "civilian" clothes I will need as well. It doesnt seem like much... I sapose this is where I luck out as my cosplay are pretty simple. Two of them are suits and the other, which has the most pieces to it, is more of a snowboarder look wardrobe heh. Yay am I excited to wear that out under the sun X_X The most diffacult part will be determaining if I indeed pulled enough money out of my account for the weekend... as I dont plan on buying alot of stuff... I need to be very conscience of how much I'm spedning this con X_X I have rent coming out while I'm gone (and a paycheck waiting at work... grr... no direct depost available) and car repairs that need to be made so I can drive this one a 'lil more while I'm looking for a new car. We leave no later then 9:00am from Surprise, AZ! About 6 or 7hr drive time approx.... its a long and gross drive... blahh. infact thats just about the name of one of the towns we stop in... Bleight or Blike or something to that extent... either way its gross and I dun like it!! I'll see you all there I hope!! ^_^ ANIME EXPO 2007 COSPLAY: Ichiro (Nerima Daikon Brothers) Spike Spiegel (Cowboy Bebop) Chris Redfield (Resident Evil: Gamecube Remake secret costume) ANIME EXPO 2007 GATHERINGS LIST Resident Evil/ Biohazard Main Gathering** - Sunday 3pm in front of LBCC (I am the gathering head) This is now considered a large group gathering!... I'll be in Long Beach, leaving Arizona Thursday morning (28th) and staying until the 3rd! Hopefulyl we'll just casually leave Cali on the 3rd since we shouldnt be in any other rush to get out of our rooms but to get out before check out time.
