My first entry, I would like to start with something positive.
Lately I've been struck by the urge to make so many costumes from different things. It could be from an anime that I just watched or a video game I just played. Design and attitude that makes a character's garb worth making; these were not the only things that drive me to make costumes. The true inspiration stems from seeing other people's beautiful work. They could be very elaborate, simple or an original design. Seeing them with poise and charisma sets the costume they're wearing apart. All the fun they experience showcasing the costume and personifying the character.
Now, my only problem is time. I got no time to make them. Also, I have to go so far to get good materials which tends to get frustrating. Wait, I should be only writing positive things!! Ack! Anyways....
All I can say to everyone is to keep making wonderful costumes! Don't be dismayed with what bad things you hear from other people. There is someone out there who regards you as an inspiration. This is not meant to sound creppy or something like that. I would just like to praise and say kudos for those people who spend vast amounts of time and money creating their vision and dreams.
