I still need to update my website with these, but I thought I would add another costume gallery to my photo album here on cosspace.com. This time it's Athena photos from AX 2007 with Inara/Laura. I am unmaking all top friends for right now because there are only 6 choices and it's just too hard T_T. I hope we will soon have an option of having more top friends :) Please?
This is my line up so far for 2007. Oi. Anime Expo 29. June - 2. July - Hoping to finish at least one new costume for this event. The many changes my life has gone through in the recent months and my 5 week long trip definitely killed any grand cosplay ideas I've had for this event. Nonetheless, we'll be rooming with Barb, Jia and Miko so much fun will be had!
Metrocon 6. - 8. July - I am an invited guest at this event, and will be judging the masquerade and do panels. I am definitely bringing Mulan for the Disney gathering, yay! I haven't been back to a Florida con since years ago, and this is also my first Metro. I have heard many good things about it and look forward to seeing some of my FL friends!
Labyrinth of Jared Ball 13. & 14. July - Absolutely tentative at this point, since it would be the third event in a row O_o... not sure if I can handle that... but the drive is only 4 hours, and Goodness I have been wanting to go for years now. IF we end up going, we're hoping to have one new costume for each, Brian and me.
San Diego Comic Con 26. - 29. July - We'll be road tripping there together with our friend Ashley. Can't wait, should be awesome. I plan on looking around a lot and not dressing up, this being my first year.
And here comes my non-stop one show per week phase.. which might actually start on the 26. August... @_-
Dragoncon 31. August - 3. September - After a good breather is my favorite con in the world! The one event where I make myself do NOTHING. No contest. No panels. No work. Be a lazy bum. Drink and smooch my buddies. Stay up all weekend.
I definitely will make something new this year, and bring a crap load of costumes. I also cannot wait to see Brian in his costumes, OMG the hotness!
The next weekend...Expo Comics Vera Cruz, Mexico 8. & 9. September - I am an invited guest to this show, which Ale told me is ON THE BEACH. I am most looking forward to seeing her and Faustino again, I miss those guys so much.
The next weekend...T-Mode 14. - 16. September - This is a new anime convention in Virginia, and so far it's looking really great! The Final Fantasy Ball sounds really kickass, and I'll get to hang out with and ! Them being there really made me say yes.
This will be my only east coast show this year so I certainly hope to see a lot of friends from that area. My room will be free crash space if anyone wants to help me out with a panel or something.
Ani-Magic 5. - 7. October - I know a lot of people had bad experiences at Ani-Magic last year, but I for one want to support the con's efforts in rectifying the mistakes and making it a better event this year. Southern California doesn't have that many cons besides AX. I for one have always had fun at Ani-Magic and like their cosplayer friendly atmosphere, so I hope to make a new costume for it and see many there. As a guest I will be judging the costume contest with Chris, and I want to do a couple of panels.
JaniCon 2. - 4. November - I am an invited guest at this convention, and will be judging the costume contest as well as doing a cosplay related panel/workshop. I mean to pile a number of friends into my room, and am really looking forward to this smaller event.
I am so excited over this new community - it's so well-rounded and easy to find people, pics, anything. I have found a lot of my friends on here already, and started using the profile gallery, as well as made some albums within the Photo Storage area. I like the different choices this system gives you, such as where you want to share personal pics, cosplay pics, event pics etc. The commenting system makes keeping in touch so easy! I hope as this site grows, we'll see more features. I will certainly make suggestions in the forum! One thing I'd like to see on the Profiles is a section on the left with upcoming cons listed. It would make finding people so easy. Just throwing it out there!
