Getting ready for Dragon*con here. It's going to be my first time down there and I am pretty excited. I'll be bringing my two Star Wars Imperial Officer uniforms and I'll be premeiring my Blade Runner Rep Detective cosplay. Who else is going to Dragon*con?
My brother and I will be going to Origins this weekend in Columbus. It is a gaming con focusing on RPG's, CCGs, and regular board games. There will be cosplayers there, so I plan on cosplaying at least one day in my Imperial Officer uniform from Star Wars.
Otakon is coming up quick and I am really looking forward to it. My Roy Fokker should be ready next week. It will be the only new costume that I plan on bringing. There is not much panel or guest wise that excites me this year at Otakon, but I have several photo shoots that I have planned and gatherings that I want to be at. I'll have a schedule made and posted over the next couple of days. I just hope that we are spared the oppresive heat that we had last year. I look forward to seeing everybody!!!

Something that I am going to be doing at Otakon is taking lots and lots of pictures. I mentioned this before at my livejournal account and am going to give preference to friends that I know. I use a Nikon D80 camera and do not do not charge for taking pictures. Nearly everything will be uploaded onto a public gallery here and on LJ.
If you are interested in having your picture taken, please let me know where and when you will be during Otakon. Also tell me the character and series your costume is from and I will see what I can do about making it there to take pictures. I may not be familiar with your series/game so please have in mind some of what you would like to be shot. Take care and I'll see you in Baltimore.
I recently created a new group called "Old School Anime Cosplay". It is for people who have cosplayed or plan to cosplay characters from movies or series before 1992. You can't forget your roots and there is a rich lush field of characters and costumes that can be done from this time.
I've done Sanson from "Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water" and am currently working on a Roy Fokker from "Macross". It is an open group so feel free to join.
