Woot! This was a last min trip for me, I realized I had the weekend off and remebered about this con, so I packed my stuff and headed out there. I had alot of fun despite the series of events that unravled.

I am sure I'm not the only one here, who starts one project but finishes another. I get sidetracked so easily. I started with a Pickachu cosplay and ended with Kula Diamond from KOF. haha I have so many costumes I want to do before halloween I'm not sure I will get finished. My brothers have asked me to work on their costumes too, and I don't mind...I just hope I can finish them all. I think I might take the easy way out on a few of them, by that I mean I'm going to just make alterations to clothes I can find at a second-hand store.
Costumes I want to finish before halloween:
Kula Diamond--- woot! 97% finished, yeah! Just need the emblem on the back of the jacket and on of the chap legs needs a little taking in, ready by Afest for sure!
K' -- working progress....25% finished. I need to be done with this one before school starts and have ready for (A-fest)
Poison Ivy-- halloween costume, I have the material...just haven't started on anything.
Two-Face-- Bf's halloween costume. Haven't started on it, but this is one I will "Cheat" on. I bought a cheap 3-peice suit at Goodwill for $12, which was a tan color that I tought would be easy to dye, but How can I dye white?
The Joker-- We are doing a batman theme for halloween. This one is for my brother. I also bought a suit for this one and will dye it purple, and take it in some to custome fit my bro. This one won't be too hard.
Robin--??? Maybe...my little bro hasn't decided what he wants to do, we tell him to be Robin, but he said he wasnt to be James bond. lol This one is up in the air.
Sooo, will I get all this done...we'll find out. XP
I'm seriously so excited about my costume. I think it's comming along alot better than I thought I could do. This is my first project completely from scractch, before this I didn't have a machine and would sew by hand so to save time I would buy clothes and just alter them. Since I got a machine earlier in the year I've been so excited. I have a list of costumes I want to make. I picked this one because I simply adore Kula. Since I have played KOF she automatically became my favorite charactor. She is uber cute, and just adorable, she was the first to come to mind. So far this is my progress:
Jacket: 90% -- still need the emblem on the back and hem the bottom of the jacket.
Unitard-- 100% (already had this, so that was easy)
Gloves-- 98% Need to add one more piece of foam, and touch up on paint.
Boots-- 50% ( I have em, just need to paint some gold trim, add a little gold foam for texture and give em a little shine)
Chaps-- 5% ( I have the material...still need to draw out a pattern, and get started on them)
Belt-- 90% (Just need the belt buckle, which I will make out of foamies and paint gold)
Wig--100% (had a blue wig with no bangs, but I cut some bangs out...I think it feels a bit funny, but it works)
Here are some pic's (which I just love to take) I love to put this costume on! Some are a bit blurry as it was hard to push the buttons with my gloves, and then running to get a good pose blured them out a bit....
 I love this purple wig! Does anyone remeber, Kula does have purpleish hair in her alternate charactor in KOF 2000! I have it, in the cover it's purple, but the outfit she wears is black. XP I'm temted to wear this wig.
 I like this pose, tooo bad this pic came out wayy blurry.
 This one is probably the most clear.
Anyhow that's my progress, I hope to be done for sure by afest and I look foward to debuting it then! Woot!
