So, I'm saving my money to get an apple macbook pro cuz i wanna make some pre-recorded skits for masqurades. but i mean, my bf and i don't really practice our skits ahead of time...we just do it impromtu. but if we wanna do a big group, we have to practice...but the thing is that he's stubborn and doesn't wanna be a perfectionist like me. my ideal best of show skit would be like this year's fanime baccano skit. they practiced like woah!! had the performance part down 5 months before the con! i'ma big fan of cal poly just cuz they did that skit for fanime! I loved it soo much! i wanna be a part of something big like that. and I don't want my bf's stubborn-ness holding me back. just my thoughts as of now. no cons in july...which means this coming month is my sewing month. i don't like making things last minute. that's why i start early. my big costumes for the following year, i start them during winter break or even thanksgiving break, like my Itsuki from Sengoku Basara, my DJ Erika from Beatmania IIDX, my Lilith from Darkstalkers. I started them all like 5 or 6 months before the big day of their debut. dunno what's in store for next year's big costume...but i'll keep it a secret till CBF. ![]() ![]()
So, my last con of the year will be Sac-Con in December. I will be cosplaying as Pleinair from Disgaea. ^_^ Yay! Christmas style, since it's gonna be cold. I wanna make a cute bunny jacket to wear over my costume. I also have to fix my wig... .
So, my cons for the remainder of the year is as follows:
Yaoi Con (Saturday, October 27th) - I'll be cosplaying as Nagi from Hayate the Combat Butler along with my bf as Hayate and my friend as Maria. This time I'm gonna buy myself a doujin...since I did get to last year. Also, we'll be staying for the entire cosplay contest. I doubt that we'd get a spot to perform since there's only 10 available at the con...but it would be fun to watch. Maybe we'd get a chance to see the bishounen auction afterwards...but I know my bf wouldn't wanna see that. I'm really hoping that the CHUG game room will have Para Para Paradise again! ^_^ My friend and I were addicted to that last year. Oh, and also the manga library would be nice to just chill in.
Sac Con (Sunday, December 9th) - My bf and I will be cosplaying as Salt and Sugar (from Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar). Yay for X-mas theme cosplay! This will be the last con of the year. I'm gonna do some major shopping for the holiday season. And I'm hoping to get good deals. I remember last year, I did

of these this year, but they'll carry on to the next.
