Toward the end of summer i was wondering what cosplay i should do during this time. Last time iwas Anbu Kakashi with the chidori, but i felt like i can upgrade that outfit by making the Anbu Mask. The new cosplay i was looking forward to was Ichigos Hollow mask from bleach.
To start things off i went to by ordinary face mask for the shape of the face. I wnet to purchase air dry clay instead doing the paper mache method. The clay was a little messy and at the same time getting the right proportions for the hollow piece. After sculpting the fractured mask and the teeth, i set it to dry in the summer heat. Once dry i noticed it was kinda heavy for clay.
I remebered in 6th grade our teacher had us play and manipulate a clay that will become light weight once dry. I was able to find the stuff at the same place. The flexible clay didnt make a mess plus it was easy to manipulate. After making the second mask i was satisfied of my results. Oh the stuff was called Model Magic.
