It was very strange. I was on the plane back from Japan, and I was racking my brain of what I should draw to keep myself occupied during the long flight (9 hours x_x). I had recently conquered Final Fantasy VI (Haha! Kefka didn't stand a chance... XD) I'd already drawn Terra and Locke, and I don't like Celes (Haha, don't hate me for it!), plus I had no pictures or references. So I decided to draw Madonna, because she wins pretty hard. Considering she proved to everyone that Espers and Humans can co-exist. I knew roughly what her costume looked like, and elaborated from there. The wings I added for funzies, because for some reason I thought Maduin had wings... Or something. XD; Don't ask me what I was thinking. Haha, I still think they're a nice touch though. ^ ^ So, I liked the drawing so much, that I decided to sew it.
My Favorite Aspect:
The duster that goes over the skirt. It's so colorful! And it was so much fun to design! ^ ^
Least Favorite Part:
I love it all.
Easiest Part:
The white shrug. It took me less than 4 hours I think.
Hardest Part:
The wings. I kept burning my fingers on the hot glue while I was applying the feathers. Plus it took me forever! Pretty sure I watched the entire series of Serial Experiments Lain while I was working on them. XD
