I honestly had no plans to make this costume until two weeks or so before Akon. I found out my Disgaea Archer wasn't going to be wearable, so I scrambled to make something to go with my boyfriend's Skull Mage.
My Favorite Aspect:
The paws. I think they turned out really great.
Least Favorite Part:
The fact that I chose fleece for all of it. Being that she had some cat features (cat burgler?) I thought fleece was really the material to go with. Because of that, my face is pink in all the pictures from the Disgaea meet up at AWA.
Easiest Part:
The goggles. Actually, I just got orange and black glass paint. I started painting them orange and left the goggles on the table. A few friends came over and with nothing else to do with their hands, one friend started coating the lens in more orange and after she left, another continued. By the time he left, I just needed to do a touchup and then paint on the black.
Hardest Part:
Either the jacket or the footgear. The jacket was only tricky because I was unsure how to handle the design. The footgear was hard because I hadn't done anything like that before.
