Yay! AMV #11!

I actually didn't think I was going to be able to make this for about another week at the earliest...after new year's at the latest. But last Friday my back started hurting (yes, this story has a point...) and has been ever since--it's gotten so bad that yesterday I almost had to tell my teacher that I couldn't finish my final because I couldn't stand up to drape. Well, I talked to my mom and she thinks that I might have inherited her tendency of channeling stress into my back (as opposed to actually feeling it), which is why my back's been hurting (and no amount of back rubs from my roommate has helped).

So...that got me to thinking. If it's stress that's causing my back to hurt, shouldn't I do something that's a stress RELIEVER in order to make it feel better? And so, despite the fact that I REALLY should be studying for my final tomorrow (which counts for, like, 40%--literally--of my grade), I made this AMV. Therefore, in kind of a roundabout way, all of you have my back to thank for this AMV!

So...that's my little story behind the creation of this AMV. :P

Oh yeah...okay...so back to the AMV. I was originally planning on making this another "various anime" AMV, combination of Chrono Crusade and Fruits Basket, since I think the song fits both series to the proverbial "T." But when I was picking Chrono Crusade episodes, I realized that I had plenty to work with from just that series, so Furuba was scrapped.

Also originally, I was planning on focusing more on Chrono. But when I started putting everything together, I focused a lot on Azmaria. And then it kind of became a group thing with everyone in it.

I wouldn't say this is my BEST AMV, since I made it in just over 3 hours (booya! who's getting faster!), and it was mainly a stress reliever. Plus, I didn't take into consideration in pre-production that the fade out at the end might get a little boring (I tried to make it as interesting as possible, though, without ruining the mood). Oh yeah, and I know that in the beginning I show a broken mirror and not a broken frame, but hey! I couldn't find a frame...and the mirror is symbolic of that point in the anime when Rosette's spirit was kind of broken...you know, with all that stuff going on (I won't spell it out, since I don't want to spoil anything for people who haven't seen the end yet).
